Organic Bone Broth

We're starting something small in Järna: bone broth simmered slowly, by hand, from collagen-rich beef bones on organic and biodynamic Swedish farms.

Our next market: Skillebyholms Höstmarknad on the 5th of September.

We're Philip and Natalie, married with two kids, living in Järna. We've made bone broth in our own kitchen for five years, out of a passion for real food and regenerative farming. Now we are making it for you by hand, in small batches.

What is bone broth?

Bone broth is made by cooking bones and connective tissue in water.

We mainly use joints and knuckles, which contain plenty of connective tissue. As the broth cooks, this gives it body and gelatin, which is why it sets into a jelly when chilled.

There are no vegetables, herbs or spices in the broth, so the flavour stays clean and neutral enough to use in lots of different ways.

Warm it and drink it as it is, use it as a base for soups, stews and sauces, or cook rice, grains and pasta in it.
